Children & Young People
AutomataFest is a welcoming, family-friendly event, but we have the following guidelines for minors attending the event:
- Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult, parents or guardian, at all times.
- Adults attending with children are fully responsible for their care, supervision, and wellbeing throughout the event.
It’s up to parents and guardians to decide whether AutomataFest is suitable for their child, as content and experiences may vary across the programme.
Filming & Photography
We’ll be capturing the energy of AutomataFest through photography and filming throughout the duration of the event.
By attending, you’re happy for us to use images or recordings that may include you (or those in your care) for future AutomataFest marketing and documentation, across our website, social media, and other promotional materials.
If you have any concerns on the day, just speak to a member of the AutomataFest team, we will always be happy to help.
Discrimination & Inclusion
AutomataFest is a welcoming space built on curiosity, creativity, and mutual respect. We ask everyone to help keep it that way by treating fellow attendees, facilitators, and staff with kindness and consideration.
Discriminatory, abusive, defamatory, or deliberately inflammatory behaviour isn’t in keeping with the spirit of the festival and won’t be tolerated. In rare cases where behaviour is disruptive or unsafe, we reserve the right to ask individuals to leave the event.
Our aim is simple: for everyone to feel comfortable, included, and able to enjoy AutomataFest.
